嫚之屋 – House of Velvet

This is a refitting project of an apartment for a single in Taipei metro area. The initial idea is to replace the existing solid wall with transparent and soft materials. Partitions is replaced by curtains and velvet that illuminated as a solid wall and can be opened as a void. These elements become the main design idea throughout the whole. It is a project experimenting with flexibility and transparency of a living space, re-questioning "what is a wall?"

動態生活框架 – A Dynamic Living Frame


This is a collaborative project with a group of fresh talent Taiwanese designer, Original Design Studio. It is a competition proposal for students accommodation interiors of National Cheng Kung University. The main concept here is to break "Identical" and replaced with "Identity". Using modularized furniture as a frame, but providing flexibility to create a dynamic living space. Colours and patterns are widely spread to fresh up the old building. Walls are opened for varies activities to take place. In this project, we are finding a balance between "Modularity" and "Customization" to shape a dynamic living frame.
