風洞浮石 – House of Wind

設計說明:風洞+浮石 『風洞』: 不規則的基地，以量體開洞概念置入虛空間形成引風由南側水池至中央天井貫穿建築物，使得各居室皆有自然通風。 『浮石』: 各向大小開口透過量體切、挖、鑿型塑，與開放式地面層形成有如一塊石頭漂浮於地面。

景與井 – Courtyard House

A project from dotze innovations studio


"Sky Voids + Inn Vista" This is a proposal for a 2nd generation house of a 5 person family in Changhua, Taiwan. 

The site is located on the roof of an existing one storey factory building. The initial idea here is to create a contemporary Chinese courtyard house with a "回"shaped box. 

This is a layout which has individual living units and shared family spaces, they are connected by a looped corridor and separated by small light wells. 

 "Sky Voids" are distributed on the corner of the building to provide natural lighting and ventilation. It is designed as individual small courtyards.

 "Inn Vista" is the idea of creating internal views. Big glazing is designed to face the central courtyard and "Sky Voids which crates internal views looking into the garden. It is a project we are trying to re-define what a modern Chinese courtyard house can be? How space can be divided individually but also strongly connected

嫚之屋 – House of Velvet

This is a refitting project of an apartment for a single in Taipei metro area. The initial idea is to replace the existing solid wall with transparent and soft materials. Partitions is replaced by curtains and velvet that illuminated as a solid wall and can be opened as a void. These elements become the main design idea throughout the whole. It is a project experimenting with flexibility and transparency of a living space, re-questioning "what is a wall?"

動態生活框架 – A Dynamic Living Frame

This is a collaborative project with a group of fresh talent Taiwanese designer, Original Design Studio. It is a competition proposal for students accommodation interiors of National Cheng Kung University. The main concept here is to break "Identical" and replaced with "Identity". Using modularized furniture as a frame, but providing flexibility to create a dynamic living space. Colours and patterns are widely spread to fresh up the old building. Walls are opened for varies activities to take place. In this project, we are finding a balance between "Modularity" and "Customization" to shape a dynamic living frame.

Some thought on the Loop house, its located on 1st floor of a factory which has a open flat roof,  basic idea is from the Taiwanese traditional "Se Ho Yuan" courtyard houses layout, each room shares a courtyard and has its own skylight to have more ventilation, the 2nd exterior wall is to cutoff the direct view from the street to give more privacy at the same time to gather daylight. The projected windows are proposed as a sitting corner integrated within the wall and roof light. The volume looks massive and the moment and room space needs to be reduced and also the glazing as concern on cleaning, direct sun and cost.

The Teahouse

序言:

一座位於於彰化的織襪工廠:佩登斯工業股份有限公司；一個原有消防景觀魚池因為政府土地徵收而被劃過一刀，池子的破碎也一同把原有草地環抱魚池的景象掩埋了。原本活氣生生的魚池現今化為一灘養蚊子的死水，而這也醞釀著這案子誕生的契機。業主只要求一件事:「要有陽光、有空氣、涼爽而舒適的空間。」

設計初衷:

在幾次討論的過程中，設計師意識到業主喜歡融入自然環境的空間，不斷提示著水池與花園，因此嘗試用四種元素來形塑整個設計『風、光、綠、水』，而以水為主角貫穿整個建築來鋪陳一個『以風為體、以光為面、以綠為牆、以水為頂』架構於舊水池上的情境空間。

風:透過可開放的門窗:大面旋轉門、可全開啟的帷幕，利用水池與碎石地的空氣溫差造成空氣對流增長夏季西南風導入室內空間的機會。
光:量體長向為南北向的配置，減少太陽直射的高溫，並將南向與北向視為採光面增加白天自然光照明的機會。
綠:南向玻璃帷幕將工廠既有綠化的花圃景色引入室內，並於北面水池中置入涵管，將土壤延伸至水面種植植栽增加綠化景觀機會，從室內看出去是片綠色的景象。(原本希望圍牆種植霹靂爬藤尚未實現)。

水:整個設計的主軸，四種水的表情
a.水池:儲水的屋頂可降低室內溫度並提供以下三種水的動力。
b.水牆:屋頂水滿沿著斜牆淌下颯颯水聲是建築物最好的音響。
c.水簾:從雨遮裡瀝瀝而下的水簾伴著微風帶來一絲清涼。
d.水光:池水灧瀲的光影穿越玻璃走道映射在天花板是最美的畫面。

設計初探:
設計期間發展了許多階段的草模型，利用草模型來檢驗設計想法與基地環境條件之關係，發展過程中有些是結構問題，有些是材料構法問題，有些則是對應基地環境問題，最後在不同的可能中來醞釀更多的想法整合在最後的定案設計裡。
